Trying to get in a positive comment before the negativity starts.

How can we put our young wingers (49,72) in the worst possible situation?

By playing them with Sobotka of course

Not playing them with Sobotka.

I mean honestly, I’d rather see them in Rochester and they can bring up Scott Wilson and another scrub.

49 and 72 suddenly started to actually play well when they put 71 in between them

I can see why you're upset about Thompson playing with him, Larsson and/or girgensons...imo, smith will be fine as he plays a solid 200' game and creates his own space

Why not put Sobotka on the fourth line...

Skinner-Eichel-Pommerman
Sheary-Mitts-Reinhart
Smith-ERod-Thompson
Girgensons-Larsson-Sobotka

Seems like a no brainer...

that's reasonable...however that third line has very little experience

All you’re swapping is Sobotka and ERod. Personally I’d take ERods speed and ability to attack the game, not to mention play with other offensively skilled players over whatever it is Sobotka is supposed to be bringing.

Quotes not working.

Good lineup suggestion by the Gipper.

I can't wait for ERod to find his way back to the 4th line...which means the roster will have progressed to the point we have actual talent throughout it.

E-Rod

Yeah I have no problem with ERod on the 3rd line. He’s a really nice piece that can really play anywhere in a pinch. And low cost.

He is serviceable as 3rd, surely.
Team would be better with him on the 4th is all...means they are ready to contend.
Nothing against ERod

KO is utterly lost. He has no idea what his identity is. Now he's trying to throw fists. Not a great idea for him to be willingly accepting hits to the head

I see a guy who is trying to provide whatever value he can, who has pride in his game, and one willing to take on a role to best help the team with what little he has left. He is trying 120%.
He knows his production is far below his contract.
I like most (you too I assume) feel bad for him, and think this offseason will be a come-to-Jesus time for him.

Do you think for 7 or 8 years? Maybe 8.25 for 7?
